STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Mathematics) is an educational philosophy that sparks a lifetime love of arts and science from an early age. Scholars are exposed to a wide range of creative processes which require inquiry and investigation. Our STEAM program will teach relevant, in-demand skills that prepare scholars to become innovators in our ever-changing world.

But that's not all, in addition to a total academic overhaul, our team will also be shifting our attention to focus on living the new core values of Riverbend Prep. Moving forward, we will keep the following principles at the center of everything we do.

• Riverbend has a responsibility to develop the WHOLE CHILD. Academics and social-emotional learning are equally important.

• Our methodologies are CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE. We honor and celebrate our diverse community and strategically select curriculum and programs that best serve them.

• Scholars should understand WHY education is important and how it directly benefits them.
